Tatiana Lyadockrina for Jason Wu
Yevgeniya Kedrova for Tuleh
Even my old pal Irina looks sickly. Her thigh looks about the size of my upper arm. Hmmph. (Zac Posen)
Anyways, I haven't had much time to look through the collections, but from what I've seen, the major "trends" next spring are going to be:
1) Pastelly washed out colours: pale yellow and blue seem to be the "it" colours, along with lilacy greys, off-whites, and khakis
2) Small-ish volume: not sure if I'll try this one
3) Feminine details: bows, pleats, ruffles
I can't wait.

Wow, those particular models look terribly thin. But they all are and it's sad that I don't notice anymore when someone has dwindled down to almost disturbing proportions.
I think it gets to the point of quite sickening really.
Although clothes shouldn't be shown on fatter people, neither should the be shown on unrealistic images of stick thin models. It's just wrong.
I love models. It's a little scary to compare the size of their thigh to a normal upper arm. That's just wrong.
Models are mostly naturally thin, irina looks gorgeous as usual and saying her thigh looks like your upper arm is stupid. Unless your upper arm is absolutely, grotesquely huge than there is no way that it is the same size as her arm. STOP dissing models.
